Because marketers work best
when they have a great soundtrack.
We’ve been cleaning the HELL out of our upstairs, and it’s unearthed some pretty amazing gems in the nostalgia department.
The greatest find has been a GIGANTIC box with my CD collection. We’re talking about hundreds of CD’s—a set of lovingly curated music from the time I bought my first compact disc at the age of 13 to the last gasp of physical music in my early 30s.
After I quickly did the math and realized that the amount I had spent on these CDs over that time period could easily be a 20% downpayment on a house, I put that thought away and went through these discs in detail. SO MUCH GREAT MUSIC that I had forgotten about.
Needless to say, I’ve been digging deep into all things Sneaker Pimps, Velocity Girl, and Luscious Jackson over the past week. Here’s a short list of my favorites, for your own listening pleasure.
